What causes car traffic? Tom Vanderbilt posts a
cool infographic. Only thing that's missing from it is bike lanes and scofflaw cyclists. Granted neither of these things are related to highways, but I'm sure that the effects of one driver having to briefly slow down and move slightly to the left to pass a cyclist on a city street has a ripple effect much greater than over-saturation of cars. That sounds plausible, right?
